Engulf manifests by the power of YOU, the Engulf community! It’s an open canvas for our creativity and energy–powered by you, and you, and you! Engulf supplies a safe space, an effigy, toilets, and a few other amenities, but everything else you see at Engulf is made by the people of Engulf!
All attendees are participants and participants are both the entertainers and the entertained. Theme camps, art, performances–these all come from the hearts, minds, and generous spirits of your fellow Engulfers (and you!) …
There’s no paid employees, no VIP, and no vending! Everyone who you see “working” at Engulf (or doing stuff pre- or post- event) is a volunteer: the person who scans your ticket, the one who shows you where to park, the medics there to supply first aid and basic life saving … the map makers, the art placers, the Rangers working to keep the event safe … the website designers, the people keeping the generators going, those who build our effigy … (you get the idea) … ARE ALL VOLUNTEERS!
While attending Engulf means you’re an Engulf participant and a co-creator of the event, there are so many more ways to participate and help make Engulf go! We hope you’ll check out our list below, fill out our volunteer interest form, and GET INVOLVED!
